One day it clicked in my head and I decided to take full responsibility for my body and health. I started with a diet that was well-known as a healthy and well-balanced diet with lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and low in fat and of course with 5-6 meals per day. I accompanied my diet with regular exercise so I started to do fitness 5 days a week. Results were coming in and my weight was going down. But after a few months, my progress stalled. Eventually, I cut down on my food intake and start to workout harder. It helped for a month but I wasn't feeling well. I was tired, lacking energy throughout the day, I didn't sleep well and I started to gain back weight. No matter what I did.
Looking for solutions I came across a primal diet which was totally in contrast with everything I knew (thought I knew) about a healthy diet and weight loss. However, I decided to give it a try. It was a total eye-opener for me. My weight fell off effortlessly, I couldn't eat more than 3 meals per day and my energy levels were through the roof. Overall I never felt better. The most important thing for me was losing food cravings, rebuilding my relationship with food, and keeping the weight off effortlessly. It amazed me (and it still does) so much that I decided to help other people, who are struggling with the same or similar problems as I did so I can help them get through barriers that are enabling them to live happy and healthy lives.
